Our vehicles are hired by productions for a wide range of purposes; from transporting sparks equipment in our drop-side truck to transporting location managers in our discovery. We offer two flexible hire options: vehicle dry hire or vehicle hire with a driver. For dry hire, we charge a competitive weekly rate, while hiring a vehicle with a driver is available at a daily rate. This flexibility ensures that you get the service you need, tailored to the demands of your production.
All our vehicles meet Euro 6 standards, reflecting our commitment to reducing carbon dioxide emissions and minimizing harmful pollutants. Additionally, each vehicle is equipped with the latest Ford technology, ensuring they are not only environmentally friendly but also trusted and reliable for your production needs.
A major benefit included in our vehicle hire cost is the provision of multi-person insurance coverage for a single vehicle. This allows multiple drivers to be insured under the same rental agreement, providing added flexibility and convenience for productions. Before the vehicle hire can commence, the account handler will require the licences and DVLA checks for each individual intending to drive a vehicle. The account handler will also provide a hire document that must be signed, which will add the driver’s onto S2L’s insurance. If the vehicle is still on hire after 90 days, all drivers are required to re-sign this document and send an updated DVLA summary. We offer a quick delivery service for our vehicles; once delivered, the general upkeep and health of the vehicle becomes the responsibility of the production.
