Chelmsford was busy hosting VOLFEST 2026 for another year, the annual celebration of community, compassion, and connection, held on Thursday, 4 June in the centre of Chelmsford High Street.
For another year, Supply2Location was proud to support the event by providing essential event infrastructure to ensure the day could run smoothly and safely. Our team supplied:

Our team was on site by 6am, ready to go. Thankfully, this year the weather was kind and set up remained dry, allowing our team to quickly and efficiently set up all the kit, so the attendees could spend more time enjoying the event.
The event is organised by Chelmsford CVS, with this being their eighth year running, drawing in over 50 local charities to showcase the powerful impact of volunteering across Essex. Visitors were able to:
- Find vital help and advice from trusted local organisations
- Discover flexible volunteering roles to suit different interests, ages, skills and availability
- Speak directly to charities about what volunteering is really like
- Meet local people already making a difference in the community
- Enjoy music, activities, demonstrations, charity items for sale and a welcoming festival atmosphere
VOLFEST is always a testament to the community of our local area and we were honoured to play our part in helping it run smoothly.
