Chelmsford came alive once again for VOLFEST 2025, the annual celebration of community, compassion, and connection, held on Thursday, 5 June right in the heart of Chelmsford High Street. Organised by Chelmsford CVS, this great event marked its seventh year, drawing in over 50 local charities to showcase the powerful impact of volunteering across Essex. This year, Supply2Location was proud to support the event by providing, setting up and striking essential infrastructure to ensure the festival could run smoothly and safely. Our team supplied:

- 50 Ez-ups (Pop-up Temporary Shelters) with Sidewalls and Weights

- 100 Chairs
However, the skies opened just as set-up began, but that didn’t stop our dedicated crew. Braving the heavy rain, our team got to work setting up every shelter, securing every weight, and arranging the event layout to keep the show on the road.
Thanks to our weatherproof gear and resilient team, volunteers, charity workers, and visitors were able to stay dry, comfortable, and connected, despite the less than ideal conditions. Our Ez-ups provided crucial shelter that kept stalls and materials protected throughout the rainy day, allowing each organisation to engage with the public without worry.
As the event wrapped up and the rain kept falling, our team stayed on to pack everything down so volunteers could head home, warm and dry, after a great day.
