At Supply 2 Location, we’re proud to have played a vital role in keeping Sheppey Community Hospital fully operational during a series of planned low-voltage (LV) shutdowns using temporary power solutions.
Over several weeks, we worked in close partnership with William WJS Power Plant Ltd to ensure that the hospital remained live, accessible, and at full capacity, without compromising patient care or staff operations.
Using a combination of 300kVA and 100kVA generators, our team safely routed power cables throughout the hospital with minimal disruption to staff and patients. In order to maintain consistent supply to critical services, multiple sub-main distribution boards were strategically isolated and powered independently.
Hospitals pose unique challenges, and this project was no exception. Temperature-sensitive environments, such as server rooms, required power continuity without compromising airflow or security. To meet these needs, we deployed 6kW mobile battery units to power life-saving equipment including defibrillators and medical refrigeration units—without the need for propped-open doors or exposed cabling.
