Why does your generator need a load bank test?

Load bank tests are essential tests for us to be able to prove your engine and alternator can run at its required rating. It is also a preventative measure to be able to find any issues with your machine before it causes any major downtime. Load bank testing also helps prevent carbon build-up in your machine before it causes any issues.

How often does your machine need a load bank?

This would depend on how often your machine is run; ideally within standby applications where the machine only runs if site loses power then an annual load bank would be sufficient. For mission critical applications, then we would recommend every 6 months. For hire/ continuous running machines then we would recommend a service every 500 hours. This would all depend on site load and application of your machine.

Fuel Polishing
